Hmm... this can't be good. Apparently, one can find this website on google using the keywords, 'How to "drill through brick"'. Someone actually visited my website with that. The thing that it found was about when my dad bought a hammer drill to drill through the brick wall to put up my brother's basketball hoop. Oh, the things you can find out with nedstat.

What the heck is Ham-Ham???

Ew... I just accidentally clicked on something so my original entry is gone. Usually in this situation, I'd be angry and leave the computer, but I'm feeling extra patient today. So, greymatter is up and running. Youo can see it if you click click click (just click once, not thrice.) right here. It'll open dans un nouveau fenetre. (in a new window, you non-french knowing people... I know I didn't write it correctly.) So the question is, do I abandon... I mean leave this site on hiatus and just use the cool CGI powered one, or stay here and continue to get hits just because of the "member pages" list? Oh, it's an enigma... gotta sleep on it. Or at lease lounge around on it.

But I digress. I'm actually making progress with my juggling! Now I can juggle two balls! Two! I never even imagined... And I'm not just throwing one in the air and passing the other one to the other hand, like I used to, I'm actually juggling them! It's scary. Beyond all reason. Yup. I'm thinking if I add another ball, my brain will overload. I might even faint. Or die. Uh huh.

I keep saying I'm using balls. I'm not, actually. I'm using potatoes. Really.

The garbage people are on strike. That's right, there's no garbage collection. I'm beginning to think Toronto really sucks. Not only the garbage people are on strike, there are other city workers too. But no one cares about them. We have to cart our garbage to some big communal garbage area, and the strikers hold you up 1-2 hours going in and 1-2 hours going out. The worst thing is, they cancelled the Canada Day parade. It's as if they cancelled Canada Day altogether. You can't have Canada Day without a parade...

Stupid mayor. Can't even get his facts straight - he goes around saying, "It's all about money." and the workers are going around saying, "It's all about job security." What the heck is going on??? I think we should reintroduce strikebreakers. And we need an OBU. That's One Big Union. For all the workers. Every last one. Then we can have a really big strike and every one would be on strike and it would really be bad. That would be sorta fun. That happened in Winnipeg once... I think it was 1919 or something... Bolshevism, pure and simple.

05:24 p.m.

Today was one of the most boring days of my life. Actually... no, there have been more boring days, but this was pretty darn boring. It started off as boring as any other day, but the boredom grew as the day passed.

I woke up at around 7:00, but I got out of bed at 8:30. I don't know what gets into me during holidays. I have to stay in bed until I'm so bored I'd rather do a 12-minute run. But the thing is, I don't know what it is that keeps me in bed. I don't do anything or think about anything in particular. I just lie there. It's pretty scary, actually. But that's my life, and I'm okay with that.

Anyway, then I got out of bed, and I was hungry because I didn't eat any dinner the previous night. I'm not sure why. I think I forgot, and I just went to bed. Oh well. I managed to put off breakfast until around 10:30, I think. My brother was at school all day, and my sister and my mom left for his school at around 11:00 to see some awards ceremony or something. I think the only reason my sister went was because it's her old school. So I was alone most of the afternoon.

We were expecting a delivery, so my dad told me to stay upstairs so I could hear the storm door opening. (our doorbell doesn't always work ^.^) That usually wouldn't be a problem, but the cable was out for most of the day. Apart from the TV, there's nothing to do upstairs. So first, I played the Mary Poppins DVD and I was going to sing along to all the songs, but after the "I Love to Laugh" stuff I got really bored of it so I took it out and tried to play My Fair Lady. Only the My Fair Lady DVD is scratched, apparently. It works on our computer, but not the DVD player. (the irony..)

So I found some potatoes. I didn't feel like eating them, so I tried juggling them. Failing that, I sat there for about 15 minutes (it was about 2:30 by that time) and tried the TV again, and lo and behold, it worked! I watched the last Rosie and it had Lauren Graham on and she's funny. Then I watched Sailormoon but the voices scared me off, like they always do, so I watched Family Feud, and then I watched the daytime version of Weakest Link. The daytime host guy is funnier than Anne Robinson. They should switch places. The delivery guy came at 3:30. I wasted a whole afternoon. Dang him.

Bwahaha! I just quasi-updated the version again. Now, there are these dashed lines on the sides of the table, sort of enclosing the whole thing. It had to be done... looked weird without it. And so, version update. Woohoo, version 3.3! I think you're supposed to go from 3.0 to 3.1. That makes sense. I went from 3.0 to 3.2. That's pretty messed up, no? But then, it's not as messed up as I am. ^.^

So, the party... well, I didn't get much of a chance to "party hearty" but I doubt I've ever "partied hearty" before. We watched Moulin Rouge, which wasn't as strange as I thought it would be. It was still strange, though. But in a funny way, so that's all right. I think the end was supposed to be surprising and sad, but somebody told me the ending before I ever considered watching it so that sort of killed it. Oh well.

Then we did other stuff... I watched them not do karaoke ? except for two of the girls. But it was fun watching the words go by... I never actually knew the words to "It Wasn't Me". Now that's a messed up song. Shaggy's insane.

Then we went to the park! I love that park. I used to go there a lot with my family. There's this really cool thing in the playground, it's like a bunch of suspended tires that make a bridge only they're not attached to each other so they swing all over the place. The mean kids shake the tires while you're trying to get across. That's a lot of fun.

Then we went back to the hostess' house and lounged around. I don't know what happened after I left. But I left at 6:50 something ad got to the bus stop, but I forgot that all the buses on that road turn. So I missed the bus becuase I was on the other side of the street that it turns on... yeah... then I walked all the way down to the street that the bus is supposed to turn back on (which isn't far from the hostess' host, but I went all the way around, and yeah, so it took about 5 minutes to walk there, along with about 15 minutes wasted at the other bus stop.) There, I saw the the nearest bus stop on the crazy bus road was pretty far, so I walked on the other road to the bus stop, thinking I could go the other way back home. Apparently, buses only go on that road at rush hours. I didn't know exactly what the rush hours were, so I gave up, walked back to the intersection, and called my parents from a phone booth. ANd so I waited there until they came and picked me up. By the time they were there, it was 7:50. Yup, I spent an hour within one kilometre of one intersection, all the while consciously trying to go home. Sad, eh?

Wait, that made sense, right?

i am

what microsoft OS are you?

Haha, I remember that. I think I still have it on my old computer. But there's no monitor on my old computer. My sister gave it away. Now I don't know how to get all my cool games off of there - like "Dangerous Dave" (might be aother adjective that starts with 'd'. I don't remember.) and "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" but the cool version. This isn't a CD-ROM. This came off of a floppy disk. The most recent trivia questions aren't even about the U.S.S.R. I loved it.

So? What do you think? For those who just got here, (I know, probably all of you.) I just added these cool dashes all over the place (they were just plain old lines before) and I just added the entire sidebar thing over there -->

I wonder if this merits a version update? I do believe it does. In fact, it's a quasi-version upgrade... version 3.2! I've never had a version something point something.

I was unaware that I could ever do that, actually. I always thought dashes were for the elite, for some reason. But they're cute. Along with scan lines (which are actually getting quite old, IMO) and grids (which are... also getting old.)

*gasp* What if this signifies that I'm maturing in web design? I don't know if that's good or bad. Actually, no, it's good. I can still remember back when I made buttons using CorelDraw and didn't know why my linked images had borders. How young and naive I was.

But that's all fine and good. My teeth hurt and this is boring now. Byebye.

09:34 a.m.

I should get ready for the party quite soon. Ooh, Seventh Heaven. Ooh, Regis and Kelly. Which one should I watch? Oh no. What a dilemma.

I need something to do... my teeth don't hurt as much anymore (they only hurt when I eat, now) but I have this habit of trying to get non-existant food out of my braces with my tongue... the thing is, the braces keep scratching my tongue, and my tongue is all scratched and hurt now. This sucks.

Oh no, what have Simon and Ruthie done? They've gone and smoked some cigarettes... little devil children should know much better than that...

I want to see Lilo and Stitch. It looks like E.T., except in Hawaii and with a lot of Elvis. So it's gotta be better, right? Well, I don't know, because I haven't seen it yet. Have you?

I also want to see the PPG movie. Now that looks cool. Not that Lilo and Stitch doesn't look cool. But 1-2 (and possibly more) hours of powerpuffy goodness? What's not to love?

I'm so bored... that's two consecutive entries that have started with something about boredom. Not a good sign. At least there's a party tomorrow. Parties (usually) aren't boring.

My cousin's family is here right now, but I escaped. My cousin is nice, but since I stopped talking to her (it was a really subconscious thing... I don't have anything against her) she's stopped talking to me and so on. Her dad is back from Brunei and he brought... clothes! Yay. I had to choose between pink and pink. I chose... pink. But not the pink I wanted. My mom made me take the other pink. Right. I think it's a new fashion to have grossly baggy pants. These things look like clown pants. It's freaky. They kept falling down. The shawls are nice and silky.

They're all watching the Emperor's New Groove. They put the volume too loud. I didn't feel like telling them to turn it down, so I came downstairs. And here I am. I'm watching Relic Hunter. It's the same one they've been showing for about a week now. It's about Parvati's bowl, in Bali. But they keep horribly mispronouncing the names. It's both funny and embarrasing to watch. "Par-VA-ti" and"Shhhhiiiva" (okay, they didn't say Siva like that, but it's still funny.)

I just read that the U.S. wants to officially change the inventor of the telephone from Alexander Graham Bell to some Italian guy nobody's ever heard of (which is expected.) But I'm thinking they only want to change it because this Italian guy lived in the U.S. and Mr. Bell was Canadian. Dang them... you can read about this here.

I haven't got much to do... I guess I should make cookies for the party tomorrow, but... meh.

My gums still hurt like mad. I put more Anbesol on them, and now they're really numb (along with my lips and parts of my tongue.) I hope they stop hurting soon.

I somehow got another portland account, but they haven't set up the ftp stuff yet so I can't upload anything to it.

Life so boring....

Aaagghhhh.... I'm in very much pain...

I went to the orthodontist today, and he (actually his aide) put more brackets on my teeth and tightened them up. It's hurts. A lot. I can't eat with the left side of my mouth, and the right side ain't that good either.

I put "Maximum Strength Anbesol" on it, but it's gross and stops working after about 15 minutes.

Other stuff... I went to school on Friday to try to get my clarinet, but there was no one there. Literally. It was like a ghost school. All the doors were unlocked, but there wasn't a soul there. It was so creepy, I left.

I wish I could say I did other stuff between then and now, but... I didn't. I know, I don't have much of a life. Eh, it's summer.

Aaaghhh! Stupid portland. It looks nice, but it's really out to get you.

Baahahaha... the irony... you know how I kept drilling into your heads that I needed to go back to school on Wednesday to get my clarinet? Well, guess what? I forgot! It's so funny... I'm not sure if I should try to get it today, but... oh, I don't want it anymore. But I'm thinking I'm supposed to get it.

I'm getting so bored... there's nothing to do around here. Without school, I'll have (gasp) nothing to wite in here! I guess you'll have to get used to this pointless rambling. Hahaha, I pity you.

Wednesday, June 19, 2002
12:04 p.m.

So bored... I tried greymatter, it didn't work. FTP server messed up. Too many people logged on or something. Stupid portland. I want to buy space, but that involves money. >.<

I have nothing to do. Literally. That's gotta be the first time that's happened since September. Well, maybe I lied. I can go mow the lawn, but that's certain death in this weather. It's 27 degrees celsius outside.

CP24 is so boring... but so is everything else... I want to go to the mall, but apparently we're waiting for guests. But we don't know when they're coming, so we could be stuck here all day.

And they're going to give me a pink dress, too. I know it's pink because my mom saw it and she said it's pink.

I'm eating grapes. They're gross and squishy. My stomach hurts.

I think I'll go now.

I'm attempting to get GreyMatter to work. I tried once before, but it didn't work because digitalrice doesn't allow you to CHMOD. I know, I've got this place to weblog if I ever want to, but... people say GreyMatter makes you look smart. Actually, only I say that.

I think I'll bike to the mall today. With ym sister's bike, of course. And my sister's helmet and lock. I really need to get this stuff. I still have a youth-sized bike. It's purple and it says "Street King", even though it's a girl's bike. It was $100 at Wal-Mart.

03:19 p.m.

Woohoo! Finsihed the French oral thing. My teacher said, "Okay. Bon. Au revoir." and then we left... dang him, couldn't he have dropped a little hint?

I'm watching the dubbed Sailormoon S right now. It's the second episode of the season... with the girl and her cats, and the heart rod and stuff. I've seen this so many times, and it wasn't too great to begin with, and Serena's stupid voice is getting on my nerves so I'll turn it off... soon enough.

I think I'll play some Ocarina of Time. Gotta do that... temple... that comes after the Water Temple. Yeah.

Monday, June 17, 2002
09:13 a.m.

Well, it's Monday and I'm at home... this is great. I haven't not been in school during schooltime since Victoria Day. (It's in May, for you people that don't live in countries in the British Commonwealth. Queen Victoria's birthday... but not really, because they always move it to the closest Monday [or Friday] so people can have a long weekend.)

I gotta go to school at 1:something for my exam... and then that's the end of school stuff, but then I have to go back again on Wednesday to get my clarinet for the summer.

I'm suddenly really bored. I've realised, like I realise every summer, that school, while being hard, tedious work, is more interesting than staying home day after day after day. But the thing is, usually I realise that a few weeks into the vacation. Strange.

I've also realised that digital animation camp is as long as school, for two weeks. Oh well.

Got nothing else to say. I guess I'll go watch the MMVA's.

Wait! Forgot the annoying quizzes:

You're Caramilk!
Just stuffed full of surprises. No one ever knows what you're going to do next. The greatest mystery to you is, naturally, "how do they get the caramel in the Caramilk bars?

I'm so happy! I finished the Water Temple in Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Ruto's ugly. I don't know why she wants to marry me. My name is "A-1 Cool", because A-1 cool is cooler than you. That's right, cooler than you.

Sunday, June 16, 2002
04:26 p.m.

As the French oral exam nears, I get more and more nervous that I'll mess it up. And I have a suspiscion that the exams aren't going to be held in the room that I think they're going to be held in.

But I digress. School's out! I still can't believe it, since I'm going to school on Monday. It'll take me some time to begin waking up at my normal time, about 9:00 to 9:30. Sometimes 10.

This summer, I see big things for myself and my websites. First of all, since I'm going to digital animation camp at the college, I predict a large improvement in my graphics. And with all my free time, I think I'll learn some Java or something, or at least steal some scripts from the learning book thing.

another haul of quizzes... actually, just one. I lied.

You're ICQ!
You're ICQ, one of the oldest instant messaging systems. You're a number. But you are skinable, which is always good.

I'm liking this... I was on ICQ a long time ago... and, weirdly enough, I still remember my first number. In fact, I've never signed up for another one. It's 24022661, if anyone cares. I'm never on there anymore, though.

How's the new layout? I know, it's pretty bland, but I had to change it because the old one didn't work on old Netscape browsers. I'll probably redo it and put it back up... I'm pretty comfortable with this, though. It's simple, but not ugly... and it took me about 5 minutes to write. And it's super-quick to load... and who doesn't love that?

If you want to see what I'm really capable of, though, check our the older entries. (try the bottom of this page.)

Here's the plan. I'm gonna create a little webpage for the pics from the luncheon (which all pretty much suck, by the way... oh well, we'll always have memories) and it'll be so cool. Right.

And somehow I have to write the French script and send it to my partner and have us both know it by Monday, and then we have to practice on Monday... ew. Schoolwork. Eh, that's in the past.

It is ten percent of my mark though...

I can't believe classes are really over... but then I still have to go back there twice next week. >.<

Wow.

I'm in Business right now, I just got here from the party for our English teacher.

Which went off without a hitch, by the way.

It was perfect! We had so much fun and food and fun. I could not have hoped for a better party.

Except I lost my dip. That was, I think, the worst thing that happened. Someone must have taken it from the fridge. But it was okay, because our Science teacher came to the rescue with his dip.

I took pictures, of course. They'll be online by tonight.

There's barely anyone here! Everyone's skipping.

I got my camera around my neck, and it itches.
